6th Annual TeamSmile Event

Bayer & Fahl is proud to announce that Dr. Bayer will be participating in the 6th annual TeamSmile event at Miller Park on Tuesday, July 28th, 2015.

 

TeamSmile and the Milwaukee Brewers are teaming up for the 6th year to provide under-served children from the area with much needed dental and preventative care.  The program will once again be sponsored by the Brewers Community Foundation.

Waukesha Give Kids a Smile Event Participation

Give Kids a Smile in Waukesha CountyBayer & Fahl Dentistry is honored to announce that they will once again be sponsoring the annual Waukesha Give Kids A Smile ® event on Friday, February 6th and February13th, 2015. Dr. Bernhard Bayer and Dr. Joseph Fahl, and other local dentists will be donating their dental services to provide free dental care to approximately 40 under served and homeless children from Waukesha County.

The free dental care program is part of the 4th annual Give Kids a Smile event at the Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic. The Waukesha County Community Dental Clinic provides free dental care to local children who desperately need it. Give Kids A Smile is part of the National Children’s Dental Health Month initiative.

What is dentin hypersensitivity?
Dentin hypersensitivity, more commonly referred to as sensitive teeth, can be defined as short, sharp pains that come from exposed dentin (the layer of tissue found beneath the hard enamel that contains the inner pulp). Individuals with sensitive teeth may find that the pain can be triggered by hot, cold, sour, or sweet beverages or foods, forceful brushing or flossing, or even by cold air.
